In terms of health & wellbeing, what is the best thing you have ever invested in?
I completed three-and-a-half years of Alexander Technique Teacher Training.
What are some activities that bring you joy? (What renews you?)
Spending time in my Alexander Technique studio finding the sunny spots for semi-supine. I love listening to a diverse playlist of podcasts while shlepping. I start each day with a deep sigh and a deep thank you. I love to dance and move my whole self in organic and unstructured ways, to music of course.
Of all your accomplishments &/or experiences along your journey, what has been the most meaningful for you?
Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to participate in a 10-day Transformative Leadership and Coaching Program, sharing a learning platform with people from all over the world. I thoroughly enjoyed bringing my South African perspective to the table and realising the richness of what we have to offer. It was liberating to set aside any feelings of inferiority and fully engage in the process. Ultimately, it reinforced for me that human connection is at the heart of it all.
Favourite book/ quote.
I adore the poem ‘Keeping Quiet’, by Pablo Neruda.
One liner – your own mantra to the world.
So many, but I keep coming back to this one from Plato: 'The part can never be well unless the whole is well.
How do you see yourself evolving, with Keep Evolving?
Coming from a theatre background, I thrive within an ensemble. The Keep Evolving community is where mental, physical, spiritual, and imaginative growth can exponentially occur. I’m thrilled to offer Master Classes and participate in learning from other amazing teachers. My goal is to help build a strong local community of students and teachers, all committed to well-being, creativity, growth, and curiosity.
