Dear Evolvers,

Your invitation to move, breathe and belong

June brings a shift in season, and with it, a reminder to take care of ourselves in simple, steady and meaningful ways.

Winter is not only a time to slow down. It is also a time to keep moving gently, breathe more consciously, build strength where we need it, and create space for rest, reflection and reconnection.

This month, we’re celebrating yoga beyond the mat: as a way of listening to the body, calming the mind, returning to the breath and bringing more awareness into everyday life.

“Yoga is not about touching your toes. It is about what you learn on the way down.”

Did you know?

International Yoga Day is celebrated every year on 21 June, around the solstice: the summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and the winter solstice here in the Southern Hemisphere.

For us, this mid-year turning point feels like a reminder to pause, reset and return to the practices that bring light, balance and awareness into everyday life.

With that spirit in mind, here’s what’s happening in our Keep Evolving community this June.

Life energy for winter

Small ways to feel more awake, grounded and well

Winter can sometimes leave us feeling heavier, slower or less motivated. But life energy does not always come from doing more. Sometimes it comes from choosing the right kind of support.

Move your body, even gently
A short walk, yoga class, Pilates session, Tai Chi practice, chair yoga or functional movement can help shift energy and support circulation, mobility and mood.

Breathe before you rush
Even one minute of conscious breathing can help you pause, reset and return to yourself before moving into the next part of your day.

Choose warm, nourishing meals
Think soups, stews, cooked vegetables, protein-rich meals, herbal teas and grounding foods that support energy through colder days.

Support your gut after illness or antibiotics
If you have recently been unwell or have taken antibiotics, give your gut some extra care. Fibre-rich foods, colourful plants, fermented foods if tolerated, hydration and rest can all help support your microbiome. The gut and brain are deeply connected, so gut support is part of whole-body winter wellness.

Personalise your winter support
Not sure what your body needs this season? Complete our TAILORBLEND health assessment form and we’ll help guide you towards personalised supplement support based on your lifestyle, goals and wellness needs.

Create space for rest
Rest is not something you need to earn. It is part of recovery, resilience and long-term wellbeing.

“Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you.”

Move with us this winter

Our studio timetable offers a variety of ways to support your body and mind through the colder months.

Classes include specialised yoga, Pilates, chair yoga, functional training, Tai Chi, Kundalini, sound baths, and restorative healing, with both private and group class experiences available.

Move, nourish, rest

As the colder months settle in, wellness does not need to be complicated. Sometimes the most supportive habits are the simplest ones.

Keep moving in ways that feel sustainable. Eat warmly and steadily. Make time for breath and stillness. Stay connected to the people and practices that support you. Give yourself permission to slow down when your body asks for it.

Whether you are here to move, breathe, restore, learn or reconnect, we look forward to welcoming you this winter.

May the long-time winter sun shine upon you in good health.

With warmth,
Hayley Alexander
