Ashleigh Caradas is a registered dietician in private practice who firmly believes in the healing and nourishing power of food. Drawing from her own personal health journey, she creates personalised nutrition plans that help her clients achieve optimal well-being. In addition to her expertise in nutrition, Ashleigh is also a dedicated yoga instructor, embracing a holistic approach that empowers her clients to cultivate physical, emotional, and mental balance. Adding a creative edge to her wellness practice, Ashleigh also channels her passion for music as a DJ, offering a unique and vibrant perspective on health and lifestyle.
In terms of health & wellbeing, what is the best thing you have ever invested in?
There are a few that come to mind, but my yoga teacher training in India in 2008 is one of the best things I’ve ever done.
What are some activities that bring you joy? (What renews you?)
Swimming lengths at the gym, or in the ocean. Swimming is my therapy. With every lap, I release tension and tap into my inner strength. The water's buoyancy lifts my spirits, and the music fuels my momentum. I emerge refreshed, revitalized, and ready to take on life's challenges.
Of all your accomplishments &/or experiences along your journey, what has been the most meaningful for you?
I have never been formally employed by anyone other than myself, and although this can be challenging, I feel it is also a significant accomplishment. I have been lucky enough to travel, and visiting new places gives me a great sense of achievement.

The only thing worth taking seriously in life is your sense of humour. No one is getting out alive, so just enjoy yourself and be yourself.

I love being part of a team of amazing individuals who want to change the world, and I hope we can make a small difference in it
What are some activities that bring you joy? (What renews you?)
I love music and DJ on the side. Collecting, listening to, and playing music brings me the most joy. I enjoy doing CrossFit and yoga as well. Spending quality time with friends and family brings me joy, too. I also love to travel!
