Dear Evolvers,

Having crossed over the solstice into July, it is a natural moment to pause, reflect and gently check in.
 
Not with pressure. Not with the feeling that we need to start over or do everything differently. But with a little more honesty around where we are, what is working, what needs attention and what we may want to carry differently into the second half of the year.
 
It is also a moment to offer ourselves a little forgiveness. Perhaps the goals we set in January have not unfolded exactly as planned. Perhaps there have been setbacks, delays, unexpected challenges or simply the reality of life getting in the way. That does not mean we have failed.
 
Remind yourself, gently, that every step forward counts, no matter where you are starting from.
 
At Keep Evolving, we believe wellness is not about perfection. It is about becoming. It is about learning to listen to your body, honour your season and keep moving forward in a way that feels sustainable, personal and real.

In studio

Our timetable is a little like Tree Pose (Vrksasana): rooted and steady, but always learning to balance, bend and adjust.
 
At Mind Body Evolve Studio, many of our classes have built a strong foundation and now form part of our consistent weekly flow, while a few newer offerings are still being explored and refined.
 
As we move through the school holidays and delicious duvet mornings, we have made a few gentle adjustments to better suit the season and timing.
 
This July, join us for our thoughtfully curated range of yoga offerings, from Gentle and Suset Flows to Restore, Kundalini, Pregnancy, Chair, and more.
 
Alongside these, we also offer Pilates-Yoga Fusion, Functional Training, Ladies Align & Define, Men’s Mobility, Sound Bath, and Tai Chi.
 
Whether you are looking to strengthen, stretch, restore, breathe, move gently, move deeply, or find a class that meets a specific need, our space is designed to be both inclusive and personal.
 
As always, our classes remain small, supportive, and intentionally held. Please keep an eye on the weekly timetable for small schedule flexes, and remember to book your space in advance.

Special workshops and experiences

As you may have come to expect, we have a few special workshops and experiences in the works for July.
 
In June, we hosted a fascinating Fascia Workshop with Ingrid, and the feedback reminded us how valuable these focused, intimate sessions can be.

Facebook Live: Mobility for men and women

On Friday, 24 July, we are looking forward to our next Facebook Live conversation with Reggie, one of our much-loved instructors at Mind Body Evolve Studio.
 
Reggie teaches both our Men’s Mobility and Ladies Align & Define classes, bringing years of experience in Pilates, body conditioning, strength, sculpting and functional movement.
 
Together, we will be exploring mobility, strength and what it really means to move well. Flexibility is not just for yogis, and mobility is not something to think about only once you start feeling stiff. It is a vital part of moving with confidence, preventing injury and maintaining strength at every stage of life.
 
Whether you are a MAMIL (Middle-Aged Man in Lycra), a gym enthusiast who can no longer touch your toes, a woman wanting to improve posture, strength and ease of movement, or simply someone feeling less mobile than you used to, this Live is for you.

Breathe and become

We will also be hosting a Breathwork Workshop with Sundri Atma, designed as an immersive space for breath, somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, reflection and embodied connection.
 
Sundri’s work invites us to move and awaken with greater awareness, and this workshop will offer a chance to pause, reset and reconnect from the inside out.
 
Proposed date: Sunday 19th July. The workshop will be 3 hours (2.00 pm – 5.00 pm), but you can use one of your Discovery credits to reserve your place and pay the balance of R200 (full price is R600).

Beyond the studio: Wellness that comes to you

Keep Evolving also moves beyond the studio walls.
 
We offer classes, wellness experiences and tailored sessions at schools, shuls, offices and private venues, bringing movement, mindfulness and restoration into the spaces where people already gather.
 
Whether you are looking for a once-off wellness morning, a sound bath experience, a lunchtime yoga or movement class, a mindfulness session, or a tailored corporate wellness talk, we can create an experience that is meaningful, engaging, and suited to your community, team, or workplace.

On a personal note

If you have been feeling that you would like more personal support, but are not quite sure where to start, I would love to invite you to explore this further.
 
Alongside the studio classes, workshops, courses and community experiences we offer as a collective, I also work with clients one-on-one as a health coach specialising in Functional Nutrition.
 
This may be a helpful starting point if you would like to better understand your energy, digestion, stress patterns, habits, nutrition, lifestyle, or the small shifts that could help you feel more supported in your everyday life.
