Dear Evolvers,

There is something powerful about pausing long enough to ask better questions.

Not “What should I fix?”
Not “What am I doing wrong?”

But simply:
Do I truly understand myself?

March at Keep Evolving is centred on education in its truest sense. Not accumulating more information, but strengthening awareness. Understanding how you think. How you respond. How your body functions. How your habits form.

When insight deepens, change becomes gentler. More precise. More sustainable.

Let’s begin with a conversation.

Facebook Live: Enneagram 101

13 March | Midday

This month I am going live with the elegant and eloquent Marlain Polovin to explore The Enneagram, a personality framework that helps us better understand ourselves and those around us.

Marlain is the Organisational Development Executive at Core Group and runs her own consulting practice in executive and leadership development. With a background in Counselling Psychology and as a certified End-of-Life and Grief Coach, she brings depth and humanity to personal development work.

What is the Enneagram?

The Enneagram describes nine personality types.

Each type has its own:
• Core motivations
• Ways of relating
• Inner critic
• Defence mechanisms
• Stress patterns and growth paths

When you understand your type, patterns that once felt confusing begin to make sense. Growth becomes less reactive and more intentional.

DNA testing: Education at a biological level

If personality reveals how you think, genetics reveals how you function.

DNA testing provides insight into how your body responds to:

• Nutrition
• Exercise
• Inflammation and detoxification
• Hormone metabolism
• Stress resilience

It does not define you. It informs you.

When you understand your biological tendencies, health becomes less about trial and error and more about alignment. Nutrition can be tailored. Exercise can be structured more intelligently. Hormonal shifts can be supported proactively.

In South Africa, several reputable companies offer nutrigenetic and pharmacogenomic testing. The aim is not complexity. The aim is clarity.

In the studio: Movement as self-study

At Mind Body Evolve Studio, education is embodied.

Movement is an honest teacher. It reveals tension, imbalance, strength and resilience in
real time.

We are pleased to be expanding our timetable with the addition of:

Tai Chi with Lisa

Tai Chi is a slow, intentional movement practice rooted in balance, breath and internal awareness. It supports joint mobility, nervous system regulation and mental clarity.

Lisa brings a calm and considered teaching style, helping students experience steadiness without force and strength without tension.

Alongside Tai Chi, our studio continues to offer:
• Yoga
• Pilates
• Functional training
• Semi-private strength sessions
• Small group classes

Each class is an opportunity to learn something about your body, your breath, and your patterns.
