Dear Evolvers,
A year ago, I very hesitantly signed a lease for the space that has since become Mind Body Evolve.
I did not know exactly what I was creating or whether I was ready for everything that would come with it. I simply knew that my vision for Keep Evolving needed to move from a digital space into a physical place where people could move, connect, learn and feel supported as individuals.
Over the past year, that empty space has gradually become a studio, a community and, in many ways, a new lease on life for me too.
It has not unfolded exactly as I imagined. There have been challenges, changes and plenty of lessons along the way. But there has also been so much growth, connection and joy. Every class, conversation, instructor and person who has walked through the door has helped shape Mind Body Evolve into what it is becoming.
Perhaps the most meaningful way to reflect on this first year is through the words of the people who have made the studio their own:
“Mind Body Evolve has given me a space where I have felt comfortable enough to push my boundaries, whilst at the same time feeling supported, meeting me where I am and helping me become stronger.
And then there is the feeling when you walk out of a class: calmer, lighter, like you have put down some of the heavy you walked in with.
I also love that the classes are never quite the same, from breathwork and stretching to weight training to one of my favourites, Family Class, where I get to combine bonding time with getting a workout in.
A place that challenges me but also makes me comfortable enough to keep coming back.” – Devora.

What’s unfolding in August
August brings new opportunities to move, learn and connect. At Mind Body Evolve, we are introducing ‘Evolve One’ alongside our regular classes and a special six-week TRE series. Beyond the studio, Keep Evolving continues to grow through women’s health education, the Growth Collective event, community engagement and professional wellness offerings.
Here is a look at what is unfolding this month.

Release, restore, evolve: A six-week TRE series with Sundri
TRE, or Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises, uses a series of gentle movements to encourage the body’s natural tremoring response. This may help release held muscular tension, settle the nervous system and create a greater sense of ease and relaxation.
Sundri Atma will guide a six-week TRE series at Mind Body Evolve, every Sunday at 09:45, beginning on 2 August and continuing into September.
Members can book each session in the usual way through Discovery Vitality or Octiv. You do not need to book the full series in advance, although attending regularly may help you become more comfortable with the practice and experience its benefits over time.
Spaces are limited, so advance booking is recommended.

Introducing Evolve One: One Credit. One Person. One Focused Session.
Sometimes, a little individual attention can make all the difference. Evolve One is a focused 30-minute one-on-one session for Discovery Vitality members with an active studio benefit.
The session can be used for personal training, technique and alignment, movement modifications, support when returning to exercise, or simply gaining more confidence before joining a group class.
Evolve One is available by request, with at least 24 hours’ notice, and is subject to instructor availability. It offers a flexible opportunity for personalised support rather than a fixed or recurring private appointment.
To request an Evolve One session, kindly send us an email with your preferred day, time and type of support required.

The Growth Collection launch
Sunday, 16 August | 11:00 to 13:00
This month, Mind Body Evolve will host the launch of The Growth Collective, a new multidisciplinary initiative offering parents expert guidance, practical skills and a nurturing community in which both they and their babies can thrive.
Led by a team working across speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, educational psychology and dietetics, the collective will offer ongoing classes and educational sessions centred around support, learning and connection.
The launch will be an opportunity to meet the team and other parents, learn more about what is planned, enjoy light refreshments and take part in gentle yoga. I am also delighted to be joining the event and will close the morning with a calming sound bath.

Facebook Live: Wellness within with Sam
Friday, 28 August at 12:00
For our Women’s Month Facebook Live, I will be joined by my dear friend and colleague, Samantha Schoub, founder of Supernova and Wellness Within.
Sam’s journey into wellness grew through her investment in and involvement with MAMI (Melrose Arch Mammography Inc.). Although her professional background is in finance, her heart has increasingly led her towards wellness, personal transformation
and empowering others.
and empowering others.
Together, we will talk about what it really means to be well. We will explore the importance of screening and testing, understanding the risks we may carry, listening to our bodies and trusting the intuition that often tells us when something needs our attention.
Sam recently completed her own DNA testing with me, and we will also share some of the insights that emerged from that experience and how knowing ourselves from the inside can help us make more informed and personalised choices.
Join us live on the Keep Evolving SA Facebook page.
The recording will also be available afterwards.

Beyond the studio: Wellness that comes to you
Much of Keep Evolving’s work happens beyond the studio, carried by an incredible team of women coaches, educators and wellness professionals into workplaces, schools, shuls and community spaces.
During Women’s Month, we are especially proud to offer talks, workshops and facilitated experiences that support women’s wellbeing, personal development and empowerment. These can be tailored for corporate teams and community groups, with topics spanning movement, mindfulness, nutrition, stress management and meaningful connection.
On 22 August, I will also be sharing a gentle Stretch and Be session as part of the Limmud/JNF programme, bringing together movement, breathing and grounding.
If your workplace, school or community is planning a Women’s Month or broader wellness initiative, we would love to explore how the Keep Evolving team can support it.

Coming full circle
Reaching this milestone, I am reminded that growth is rarely about having the whole path mapped out. We may not be able to change the wind, but we can keep adjusting our sails, listening, learning and making small changes as we go.
Keep moving. Keep fine-tuning. Keep evolving.
