Dear Evolvers,

September feels like the perfect time for renewal: lighter days, fresh starts, and the gentle reminder that every season brings its own chance to grow.

This month also marks a personal milestone, with the opening of the Mind Body Evolve Studio at the Long Avenue Medical Centre in Glenhazel, Johannesburg. It will serve as my private practice venue for teaching yoga, health coaching, and facilitating DNA tests, while also becoming the new home for Keep Evolving events and socials. Bringing everything I do into a physical space is certainly a new chapter, and one that connects my personal vision with the collective vision we’ve been building together as the Keep Evolving Mind Body Community.

Coming Up: Facebook Live with Daniel Sheinfeld (Physiotherapist)

Friday 12 September at 12:00

Join us for this month’s Facebook Live with Daniel Sheinfeld, CEO of Pilates Warehouse and a qualified physiotherapist.

Our topic of conversation is “Motion is Lotion”, looking at how movement keeps joints healthy, prevents injury, and supports lifelong mobility. Drawing on his physiotherapy background and passion for Pilates, Daniel will explain why mobility is essential as we age and how simple, low-impact movement can make all the difference.

He’ll also share insights into how joints work, what happens when they are neglected, and why Pilates is such a powerful way to keep them flexible, aligned, and strong.

Save the date, join us live, and bring your questions.

Seasonal Tip: Reset Your Routine

Spring is the ideal time to lighten up routines. Try these simple shifts to help your body and mind thrive this season:

Declutter your wellness space – a tidy corner for yoga, journaling, or breathwork makes daily practice feel inviting.

Add more colour to your plate – seasonal fruits and vegetables are packed with energy-boosting nutrients.

Step outside – even 20 minutes of walking in fresh air can shift your mood and reset your focus.

Refresh your fitness – swap in new classes or outdoor activities to bring variety and motivation.
