According to Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga, each of us has a unique blend of doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) that shape body, mind, and energy.

  • Vata (air and ether): creative but easily scattered — benefits from grounding, steady styles like Hatha or Yin
  • Pitta (fire and water): fiery and driven — benefits from cooling, mindful styles like Restorative or gentle Flow
  • Kapha (earth and water): calm but sometimes sluggish — benefits from dynamic, energising practices like Vinyasa or Hot Yoga

Listen to what you need. Some days you may crave stillness; others, sweat. Let yoga meet you exactly where you are.
